We are seeking an experienced AWS Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating robust backend services with the ability to craft scalable, efficient, and maintainable code. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications in Python.
• Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS services.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for front-end consumption.
• Manage and deploy services using AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using AWS ECS or Kubernetes.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of system architecture and designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
• Implement security and data protection strategies.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide maintenance and support for existing services.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
• Proficient understanding of microservices architecture and serverless design patterns.
• Experience in containerization with Docker and deployment on AWS.
• Solid foundation in REST API development and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) for better API integration.
